HOW YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE

The Research Assistant III will work under the direction of project/evaluation supervisor(s), with project team staff, in the timely accomplishment of varying research/evaluation activities. Current projects for which responsibility may be assigned include My Future Self, Noyce, and Health Connected Teen Talk High School Refresher. Position location in Los Angeles or San Diego County.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Public Health, Educational Psychology, Education or related field.
  • At least 3-4 years research/evaluation experience, preferably in Health Education or related field.
  • Proficiency in Word, SPSS, relational databases (FileMaker, Access), Excel is required.
  • Skills in qualitative and quantitative analysis desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage several tasks simultaneously. 
  • Ability to adapt to timeline adjustments and reorganize work accordingly.
  • Ability to assist with all levels of tasks in the development of research projects, from administrative duties to study design.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, writing, verbal, and interpersonal skills required.
  • Responsible and able to follow through on all tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel locally.
  • The use of a personal vehicle or rental car for ETR business will require a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.

  • Bilingual Spanish/English a plus. 

Location: Remote - Los Angeles or San Diego County. Remote employment. Must be able to travel (within CA) for in-person data collection and tracking activities.

Starting Pay Range: $53,300 ($25.62 p/h) - 65,000 ($31.25) annually. The typical hiring range for this position is $53,300($25.62 p/h) to $59,100 ($28.41 p/h) at 100% FTE. The starting salary is determined based on the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and experience.
