The Project Coordinator II supports the day-to-day operations of one large project and/or two or more small projects, focused on adolescent, sexual and maternal health. Primary responsibilities include planning, designing, and delivering culturally tailored public health curricula and interventions for youth and adults; facilitating trainings and providing technical assistance to diverse audiences with a focus on Black women and other BIPOC communities; cultivating and maintaining community-based partnerships; and developing deliverables, reports, presentations, and other multi-media materials to document and disseminate projects in creative, engaging, and inspiring ways. This position is also expected to support resource development and contribute to strategic planning. This is a California-based remote position. Ability to travel as assigned.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • (Master’s degree or MPH) or equivalent in related field.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience within area of expertise.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience as Project Coordinator.
  • Minimum 3-5 years in effective funder/client relations, including cultivating and maintaining professional relationships.
  • Strong skills in group facilitation and presentation.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly developed people skills; ability to work with diverse groups of people.
  • Proficient with MS Office, Outlook, and supporting applications, including Internet, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience overseeing the work of consultants or subcontractors.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to develop and manage project budgets.
  • Ability to provide initiative and independently manage a complex project with multiple tasks from conception to completion.
  • Ability to balance the completion of designated project tasks, both short and long-term, with the performance of routine duties.
  • Ability to meet short deadlines, and willingness to work additional hours during deadline periods.
  • Ability to travel as assigned. Travel is primarily in California.
  • The use of a personal vehicle or rental car for ETR business will require a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.

PREFERRED

  • Experience planning, designing, and delivering culturally tailored public health curricula and interventions (e.g., evidence-based program models, etc.) to youth and adults is strongly desired.
  • Knowledge and experience in adolescent, sexual, and maternal health. Background in mental health, substance use, youth engagement and/or health equity is a plus!
  • Experience providing in-person and virtual training and technical assistance to Black women and other BIPOC communities.
  • Passion for and experience working with diverse young people.

Location: Remote - California (only). Ability to travel as assigned.

Starting Pay Range: $76,200-93,100 annually. The typical hiring range for this position is $76,200 to $84,700 at 100% FTE. The starting salary is determined based on the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and experience.
