It all boils down to profit, it wouldnt be profitable for the drug companies to find a cure, after all it would cut their profit margines by billions of dollars per year. What if the drug companies have a cure already and are just sitting it on a shelf just to keep the money rolling in from drugs like that just maintain the current infection from spreading in the body.

In this article they state that the Berlin case was the result of a bone marrow transplant. I read in another POZ article that it was stem-cell replacements. Which one is correct or do they both effect the body the same way?
